It is officialｌｙ announced prefectural government of Niigata and city of Niigata government cooperate to take part in a bid to host G8 summit conference held in Japan in 2016.
Karuizawa in Nagano, Hiroshima and Kobe also participate it so far.
Place to host it will be decided next spring.
If Niigata win it, World will eye Nigata.
